Sweet Sixteen

It’s my last day here and Ho, and though I don’t quite know how to go home, I know this: there are now sixteen more people with disabilities on their way to mobility and independence than there were before.

I can’t begin to thank each and every one of you enough. The fact that you care inspires me every day, and I am more determined than ever not only to help sixteen more children, but to share their stories with anyone who will listen, and even those who won’t listen.

When I return home and have more coherent technology available, I’ll write up profiles of everyone we have worked with so far and share those with all of you. But for now, please marvel at these adorable photos, and know that I am eternally in your debt.
