What an Opportunity We Have

So, in addition to being one step closer to being able to accept donations, I have heard back from Carrie in Ghana about the actual costs of some of the things we want to fund, and it’s incredible to think of the opportunity we have to do lasting good in someone’s life.

Here are some numbers:

A prosthetic leg:  $500

A mobility tricycle: $235

Canes: $6

Surgery: $1000 (Carrie said she has two children with disabilities who need heart surgery and one who needs surgery for spins bifida.

Wheelchairs: estimate  to come…finding wheelchairs in Ghana is proving harder than expected but no worries

So there you have it! I hesitate to use the word literally, but we could literally give someone a new leg. Think about it.
